TEACHING LANGUAGE

Greek B1 or English (at least B1/may vary according to the Bilateral)

The official language of instruction in the University of Thessaly is Greek. However, in numerous cases Erasmus+ exchange students are facilited in their academic work by getting bibliography, tutoring, exams, etc. in English. They are given tutoring courses and private study load in English as well as projects and assignments. In some instances, exams may also be given in English. This means that all applicants should be at least B1 level users in both written and spoken English. Some Bilaterals may require another level of English knowledge, so please refer to each Bilateral.  This requirement does not apply to students who are qualified to carry out their studies in Greek. Those students should have a B1 certificate in Greek.
