The University of Thessaly kindly invites you to its 9th International Staff Week, which will take place from July 6th to July 10th, 2026, in Volos, Greece.

We warmly welcome staff members interested in visiting the University of Thessaly and becoming familiar with its academic and administrative practices, within the framework of this Erasmus Staff Training Week. We consider this event an excellent opportunity to exchange knowledge, promote internationalization, and further strengthen our institutional partnerships through in-person interaction. During these five days, participants will have the opportunity to share best practices, interact with representatives from European and international universities, present their own institutions, and gain insights into exchange programmes.

Additionally, participants will be introduced to Greek language and culture and will receive the relevant certificate. A series of cultural activities has also been planned to enrich the overall experience.

The registration fee amounts to 280 Euros and includes participation in all scheduled activities, such as the excursion to the monastic community of Meteora (including meals), visits to the university campuses in Larissa, the trip to Pelion Mountain (including coffee and brunch), as well as all conference-related expenses (materials and coffee/brunch breaks).

Participants are expected to cover their own travel and accommodation expenses.

They are also kindly invited to present their institutions (e.g. through promotional material, photographs, leaflets, etc.).
