The University of Thessalykindly invites you to its 8th International Staff Week from June 30th to July 4th, 2025, in Volos, Greece. We highly encourage the staff interested in visiting the UTh and getting acquainted with the way it is run, to do so within this Erasmus Staff Training Week.

We consider it an excellent opportunity to share our knowledge, promote the idea of internationalization, and strengthen our partnerships through meeting in person.

In the span of these 5 days, the participants will have the opportunity to share their good practices, to interact with the representatives of several European & International Universities and promote their own, to be introduced to the Greek Language & Culture and get the relevant certificate, to get information about exchange programmes, and to participate to the planned cultural activities.

There is a registration fee of 280 Euros , which covers the trip to the monastic community of Meteora (all meals included), the visits to the two university campuses in the city of Larissa, the trip to the Pelion Mountain (coffee and brunch included), and all the conference expenses (material and coffee/brunch breaks included).

Participants are expected to cover their travel and accommodation expenses, and they are kindly asked to be prepared to present their Institutions (through promo material, photographs, leaflets etc.)
