The International Educational Programmes Office in Volos will resume its operation with physical presence from Thursday 05/10/2023.Appointments are necessary.
Due to the imminent dangerous weather phenomena expected from Monday morning 25/09 and for the next 24 hours in the regions of Thessaly and Central Greece, educational and administrative procedures with physical presence in all Departments of the university are suspended from Monday 25 /09 until Wednesday 27/09.
Distance education and administrative processes continue as normal.
We would like to inform our incoming students that we now have access to our emails, so communication with the office has been partially restored.
Most of the Departments will start courses as scheduled, but in some there might be a slight delay. For that reason, please check the websites of the Departments you were nominated to for any announcements or updates regarding the start of the semester as well as the announcements on the main university website.
We would like to inform our incoming students that extensive damage has been caused to the University's facilities due to the Storm Daniel that hit the cities of the Thessaly region.
The University's electronic services (e-mail, user authentication, web hosting, tele-education, etc.) have been interrupted. After intensive efforts, it was possible to upload and temporarily operate the University's website. Efforts are being made to provide as many electronic services as soon as possible.
Regarding students who needed to submit documents, an extension to the deadlines will be given providing you with the necessary time to do so.
The start of the semester will probably be delayed.

The Greek language course starts on Wednesday, February 22.
The lessons will take place every Wednesday, from 16:00 to 18:00, in room A2, on the first floor, at the Department of Economics (78 28is Oktovriou Str., 38333 - Volos)
